Photos often carry more than the picture: where you were, which phone you used, the time, sometimes even a thumbnail. This page removes hidden photo info so you can share the image without that extra data.
How to strip metadata
- Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 40 MB.
- Tell us what type the photo is.
- Press Convert file and download the cleaned file.
What you get
The same picture, without the hidden tags. File size may drop a little. Orientation that was stored only as a tag can look different in some viewers. If a photo appears sideways, rotate it in an editor after.
What this does not do
- It does not blur faces or license plates
- It does not resize or compress for the web
- It does not prove a file is “anonymous” if the pixels themselves show a place
