Which part of the workbook is rendered?

The first page of the first sheet, exactly as it would print. Other sheets are not included in the preview.

Can I edit the numbers in the preview?

No. The preview is a flat PNG picture. It is meant for thumbnails, chat, and documents, not for editing.

Does my file need to look a certain way?

Any normal XLSX workbook works. Very wide sheets might scale down to fit the preview, so small tables look best.

Generate an XLSX preview image online

Need a quick visual of a spreadsheet without sending the whole file? This page turns an XLSX workbook into a single PNG preview image you can drop into a chat, a catalog, or a report.

How to make an XLSX preview

Upload an XLSX file up to 40 MB.
Press Convert file.
Download the PNG preview of the first sheet.

What you get

One PNG showing the first page of the active sheet, rendered the way it appears when you print it — headers, numbers, and formatting included.
