Need a quick visual for an ebook? This page pulls a browser-friendly PNG preview image out of an EPUB file — no e-reader or publishing software needed.

How to make an EPUB preview

  1. Upload an EPUB file (up to 80 MB).
  2. Press Make preview.
  3. Download the PNG preview image.

What you get

A flat PNG showing the book's cover, ready to drop into a file list, a shop, a chat, or a slide deck. The image is the cover stored inside the EPUB, so it renders anywhere images do.

When this helps

  • Adding a thumbnail beside an ebook in a library or storefront
  • Sharing a quick visual of a document without sending the full EPUB
  • Creating cover images for ebook collections and portfolios

A note on covers

EPUBs normally include a cover image declared in their metadata. That image is what you get back. If a file has no embedded cover, the tool fails cleanly and tells you — it never invents a fake picture. Convert the EPUB to PDF first if you need a page render instead.
