Got a color font and want the picture that lives inside it? This page extracts the embedded PNG thumbnail from a TTF font so you can view or reuse the glyph art without a font editor.

How to extract the thumbnail

  1. Upload a TTF font file (up to 40 MB).
  2. Press Convert file.
  3. Download the extracted PNG image(s) from the result page.

What you get

PNG images that were embedded inside the font. Color fonts ship their bitmap art in the font bytes — this tool carves those PNGs out so you can preview a glyph, drop it in a document, or reuse the art elsewhere.

When this helps

  • Previewing the bitmap art of a color or emoji font
  • Reusing a glyph image that lives inside a font file
  • Checking what art a font actually embeds before putting it in a project

This reads the font only; it never modifies your file. Fonts without embedded bitmaps (plain outline fonts) have nothing to extract.
