Under 1 min

PowerPoint decks often carry a preview thumbnail — a small image of the first slide that file pickers and galleries show. If a deck has one, this page extracts it as a PNG, so you can reuse the preview or spot-check what a deck looks like without opening it.

What happens

  1. Upload a PowerPoint presentation (.pptx) up to 60 MB.
  2. Press Convert file.
  3. Download the extracted thumbnail image.

Only the embedded thumbnail is returned — not the slide contents or embedded media.

Limits

  • .pptx files up to 60 MB
  • One thumbnail image per deck

If the deck has no saved preview picture (PowerPoint saves one only when enabled), there is nothing to extract and the page reports an error instead of returning a made-up image.
